Lian Drabyk has been a photographer for several years and enjoys take pictures of different views and perspectives. Her subjects include landscapes, wild animals, farm animals, pets, buildings, abstracts and star trails. She likes to help her former school by taking photos of school sports events, which have been used in their yearbooks and in the local paper and web pages. She particularly likes black and white photography.

She has participated in the Boreal Shores Art Tour for four years and has been in the Pinawa Art Gallery for years as well.  Lian has been in the Beauhead art show for three years.

Lian received her diploma at the PrairieView School of Photography (now Willis College) in downtown Winnipeg. She completed courses in digital Photography, 2-D animation, Drama/Media, video photography and various art courses. Lian lived in China for a year and then grew up in the town of Pinawa, Manitoba. She has been able to travel to the United States, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, England, and many parts of Canada.
